Founding Partner & Editor

Martyn was raised in the Shropshire countryside and spent a considerable amount of time on the North Wales coast. It was during this time that he discovered his interest in natural history, and particularly birds. This passion developed while studying for a degree in Ecology and led to a career on ecological consultancy. Martyn currently fulfills a number of voluntary ecology related roles (including being the Shropshire Bird Recorder), and is interested in all aspects of the natural world. He is a parent to two young children and is passionate about engaging children with nature.
