I am a primate enthusiast (no bias intended), amateur wildlife photographer and lover of the great outdoors. I have a BSc in Zoology and Conservation from Bangor University, an MSc in Zoo Conservation Biology and a PGCE in further education from Plymouth University. I am currently a lecturer and course leader to animal care students. I hope to inspire young people to get involved in zoology and conservation. I hail originally from Northern Ireland where I grew up by the river watching herons, kingfishers and the occasional otter but I am willing to make my home wherever conservation takes me.
